Henrietta Atwater is a graduate of Lamar County High School in Barnesville, Georgia.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services from Mercer University in 2006. She earned a Master of Arts Teaching Degree in Special Education from Georgia College & State University in 2013. This is Mrs. Atwater's 16th year in education and 4th year in the Houston County District.

Mrs. Atwater is married to Jareem Atwater and they have three children.
