I'm excited to begin a new year in second grade. I was born and raised in Morning, Alabama. I have been married to Fletcher Barnes, Jr for 40 years. We have 2 boys and 2 girls, Michael, Kourtney, Brandon and Brittany, I have 6 grandchildren Richard, Michael (MJ), Grayson, Nolan, Camden, and Catalina. I have my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Alabama State University, Masters Degree from Walden University in Elementary Reading and Literacy, and my Specialist from Georgia Southwestern in Early Childhood Education. I taught 6 years in Alabama, 6 years in Washington DC, and 20 years in Warner Robins,
